The Company
P2E is a leading document scanning and indexing company in New England. We were
originally founded to provide a scanning service for the Legal industry, but
have evolved into much more. We find that our experience in scanning legal files
establishes our superior accuracy that all companies look for, regardless of
industry. We offer two options for our clients; on-site scanning and in-house
scanning. On-site scanning is scanning done within your facility. We bring our
equipment to you and set up right on site. This is often done in situations
where HIPAA regulations require it. In-house scanning is scanning done within
our facility. Both are equally accurate and precise.
Quality Control
We use Kodak i600 series scanners specifically developed for use in high volume
high accuracy scanning. With innovations like SurePath paper handling, Perfect
Page Scanning, and three independent ultrasonic multifeed detection sensors, we
make sure all of your documents are clear and organized. Scanning is done in two
man teams; one man for disassembling and preparing the documents, the other for
scanning and indexing the documents.
Privacy Policy
We make the greatest effort to maintain our clients privacy, strictly following
the guidelines put in place by HIPAA. If you have a particular policy that your
company requires we will be happy to oblige.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
This is the process of turning images into editable text. This is very helpful
if you are searching for information or would like to copy and paste certain
information.
Pricing
Pricing is done on a per page basis plus processing (Removal of staples and
paperclips, etc.). For fewer than 200,000 pages we charge as low as 5 cents per
page, everything over that amount is 4 cents per page. Processing fees run
between 1 and 3 cents per page, depending on the state of the files.
